We all want to work ethically in our interpreting practice. But how do we know we are making good decisions? We know that our Code of Conduct is the ethical standard that we must follow, but how do we actually work ethically in practice, when faced with situations that are not directly addressed in the Code?
This workshop explores the values that motivate our decision-making, and gives applies ethical frameworks including the Demand Control Schema, as practical tools for helping us to make good decisions in response to our everyday interpreting issues and events.
